The first edition of LAAF was held in the form of an exhibition accompanying the Retroperspective 2022 theater festival, and like the festival as a whole it was titled "The beginning of a new world."

The exhibition lasted two weeks. Held at the Art Factory in Lodz on an area of about 800m2, it included 112 works by thirty artists from home and abroad. Among them: Mikołaj Dawidziuk, Leslaw Miśkiewicz, Joanna Cisek, Wojciech Leder, Nicolas Imms, Mariusz Korczak, Maite Gonzalez.
