The first edition of LAAF took the form of an exhibition accompanying the Retroperspektywy 2022 theater festival. Like the entire festival, it was titled "The Beginning of a New World."

The exhibition lasted two weeks. It took place at Fabryka Sztuki in Łódź, covering an area of approximately 800 m2, and featured 112 works by thirty artists from Poland and abroad. Among others: Mikołaj Dawidziuk, Lesław Miśkiewicz, Joanna Cisek, Wojciech Leder, Nicolas Imms, Mariusz Korczak, and Maite Gonzalez.
