LAAF: The Sensitivity of Form is the third edition of the Lodz Abstract Art Festival, dedicated to how form affects the viewer. We believe that the emotional reception of art does not require specialized knowledge—the festival encourages mindfulness of one’s own feelings and open dialogue. Our goal is to create a safe space for the coexistence of diverse perspectives and narratives.

The exhibition takes as its point of reference the artistic legacy of Wassily Kandinsky and its relationship to contemporary abstract art across all media.
The exhibitions will feature both traditional forms of expression—such as painting, printmaking, and sculpture—as well as
and contemporary forms: video art, performance art, interactive works, and generative art.

The festival hub will be located at the OFF Piotrkowska Center, where we will present three main exhibitions: a solo exhibition by Błażej Rusin, the international group exhibitions “Nostalgia Bait” and “Structures of Sensation,” featuring works by artists selected through an open call. The program will be complemented by accompanying exhibitions and special events,
including Music Day, Perfo Day, and Museum Night.
